US presidential election

To the millions of people around the world who jumped for joy upon hearing of Obama’s victory; enjoy this hopeful moment, because it won’t last long.    It’s time to meet the new boss, same as the old boss.  All we’ve done here is replace a white bumbling idiot with an articulate black man, and although that in itself is historic, the ‘change we can believe in’ was just a campaign slogan, not a promise.  read more »

I found this video to be quite amusing. I wish Obama and McCain's audiences were this 'real' when the debates took place. The form and style of this video mimics the mass media
process - quick cuts, loud sounds and vibrant imagery. These methods which construct the medium are similar to
the current manufacturing process of pasteurized and wholly homogenized communication found in our 'every day'.  read more »

Frustrated political bloggers everywhere are bordering self-destruction over this interview. Here's yet another stutter-filled moment from the interview. To think that Sarah Palin could have even been considered a candidate for vice-president is truly remarkable. I've never seen, in my 28 years of life, a more unfit person for political office. Of course, Conservative Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz comes close.  read more »
