As has been promised for well over a year, Empowerment will begin construction of 'Empowerment Studios' in early May, in the hopes of having this project completed by late summer. We are also forming a media collective to publish and distribute radical independent media internationally through various different infoshops, activist groups, and websites (including ours of course), We plan on producing, publishing, and distributing a magazine, music, videos, zines, books, posters, postcards, patches, stickers, and buttons. The first major projects planned are the magazine, building the studio and putting out radical music mixtapes, and a poster and postcard series. Obviously, this is a big endeavor and the more people in the collective the better.
