Rick Mercer at the London Velodrome

I found this video of Rick Mercer here in london town taking a spin around our local velodrome. Good times.

We should really organize a group to go to the velodrome. I'm pretty sure it's awesome! Has anyone been around it?

I'll look into it.

I'm going to look into what it would cost for a group to get an introductory session including bike rentals (website says they are $10).  I'm pretty busy right now, but I will investigate and post my findings.  Anyone who might be interested just let me know.

i've been!

I rollerskated with the london derby girls at a practice once, it was tres fun. i even got to see the velodromers race around on their bikes and in their little outfits, it was mesmerizing!
