After LC crashed IE twice in as many minutes...
a rift in time
It's possible that the browser crashes caused a rift in time, where the site was interacting with two different Greg Fowlers in two different parallel universes.
Actually I think it's just that the site hasn't recognized your old session as logged out, even though it's forcing you to start a new session because your browser closed.
What version of IE are you using? Do you crash on a particular page?
I recommend using Firefox if you're allowed to install software on the computer you're using.
Mystery of the Rift in Time
I've been running IE7 since last July and haven't had any problems with
it until you updated LC. IE crashes on me every time that I try to
reply to a forum post.
OK, I installed Firefox and so far I'm having fewer problems on the new LC using it instead of IE. The site still periodically refuses to let me post because it says I'm not logged in, but if I click the 'go back one page' arrow all of a sudden I'm logged in again. But that only happens sometimes, and it doesn't cause the browser to crash at least.
My original post got rated 1??? And I thought I was being funny. Go figure. This is a tuff audience. Good thing I've got thick skin LOL.
