Anyone want to represent the London Commons at the Indie Media Fair?

Hey Everyone,

Last year and the year before, the LC had a table at the Indie Media Fair to promote the site to the community. It was great to have the LC represent, and I hope you (we) will be there again this year. Does anyone want to step up and agree to represent the LC at this year's fair? It will held Saturday March 29 from 1 - 5pm, you would get half a table, and if you could bring a laptop you could plug in and have people browse the site etc. A display or some info to distribute would be great too. I hope someone is willing to do this, because i think its really important the LC is represented there, it is exactly what the Indie Media Fair is all about.

I signed up for the indie media fair and as long as I get confirmation on that table, I would be more than happy to rep this site.

I think I am only able to get half a table and I saw the commons table from last year which looked great. I don't think I could do anything like that but I would be willing to hand out whatever hand out's exsist.

Jer and I sorta discussed the possibility of making an appearence.. but nothing like truely settin up a stand with literature..

my idea was more to just handout a business card to media types that would like to place a feed on either their site or our site.. or to find a cyber-venue to publish on.

I think from a developers perspective on the media fair, a few of us are extremely burnt out from the site upgrade.. so I'd hope someone else would step up and do some PR work for this site..

I might personally make an appearence, but I haven't decided yet..

Well I would, but I will have my own table..

 If all else fails we can put some pamphlets or something at our table... do those even exist anymore? did they ever exist?

 I agree with Jenn, someone should do it.
The indie media fair is fuckin' awesome.
