Global Hops Shortage

Stop everything!!!! There's a global shortage of hops. The CBC article on it is here. The article metions that the greatest impact is probably going to be on the smaller, craft brewers.

hopslessness...
Luckily one of my brew partners grows his own. we harvested about month and half ago and managed to airlock and freeze around one hundred ounces. I have no idea if this is connected but we actually lost just under half of the crop for some inexplicable reason. Anyho, if you are jones'n for a strong bitter, craft brew styles, let me know closer to christmas. We love to use excessive amounts of hops in our recently finished, three tier, gravity fed, full burning microbrewery... :)
