Vegetarian BBQ / Yard Sale / Housewarming Party

This event is open to everyone and lasts all day.  The vegetarian BBQ and a giant Yard sale will begin at 11AM and will run until 10 PM.  At 10 PM the grill will shut down and the event will be transformed into a housewarming party.  It is all a fundraiser for a new activist co-op being started for London Activists called "Empowerment."  The co-op will be media-focused and serve as a headquarters for Empowerment Independent Media, which will open an independent/alternative media infoshop and fair trade store as well as a music studio for musicians with socially conscious messages.  The house will also serve as a meeting place for local activists planning protests and other actions.  It takes a lot of money to start a project like this and being a student-run organization we are on a very tight budget so please come out and support us.

We are selling advance tickets in order to go out and buy the food, beer, wine, and Advance tickets are only 10 dollars and includes a veggie burger or veggie dog with salad and any drink (juice, beer or wine)
