March 17th Anti-War in T.O.

Here's the pics I shot this past Saturday in Toronto at the demonstration marking the 4th anniversary of the Invasion of Iraq. The event started in front of the University Courthouse, across University Ave from the U.S. Consulate. Then the march left for Nathan Phillips Square.

What do you think of these

What do you think of these 'multi-issue' protests? Do they convey any clarity of purpose beyond clarity on the disaffectedness of their participants? I certainly connect many issues in my head, but the connections I see aren't necessarily the connections that other people see. The first protest I ever went to (in Sudbury) was an 'anti-everything' all rolled-up-into-one protest which drew a lot of angst, a bit of media coverage, and nothing more. Any thoughts?

Beautiful photos though
