Here is my latest painting. It is an acrylic on canvas, 24" X 30". It was completed yesterday (November 19, 2006). I call it Glebe: Late Winter after a neighbourhood I used to live in while a resident of Ottawa many years ago. This painting is after Jean Paul Riopelle, a Quebec painter who was active in Montreal through the 50s and 60s. Riopelle moved to Paris for a number of years after which he returned to Canada. Riopelle passed away in 2002.
