Here's some more pictures from my time at Loyalist and from my internship...
I guess I can be productive and apolitical at the same time...

This may seem a little
This may seem a little strange..I'm pretty sure the guy in the fourth picture down is my friend's dad. His name is Brian and the fact that he is standing with a duck is 100% fitting. Was that particular picture taken at a re-enactment? 'Cause he is involved in a lot of those.
Love is when you don't ever want to sleep, because reality is better than any dream
A man and his Duck
Actually that picture was taken at the market square downtown. The re-enactment pictures were taken at Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The funny thing is.. That was my friend posting.
That really is my dad! :p
Just a random coincidence finding that picture. But a good one if I do say so myself!
Sarah

Forgot one...
I ment to post this one up with the rest of them. It's from the picton Fair in 2001. I believe this was on of my first assignments in college. Picton is located about a half hour south of Belleville in Prince Edward County (That big block of land that sticks out into eastern Lake Ontario).
these are very good
I like these photos a lot, especially the two of the dancing kid.
What's the deal with the two guys carrying Canadian flags? Are they in the back of a pickup truck?
Also, if you want to limit the # of photos, the way to do it is with the <!--break--> tag, but you must click the disable rich-text link in order to type it in.
I wouldn't worry about it though, unless you end up with 4 or more photos in the teaser part. I like seeing images on the front page, it makes the site look much more dynamic.
Watch out for the width of photos in posts (this goes for everyone). Posting photos to the front page that are too wide will make it so some people need to scroll side to side to see the right-hand sidebar. I try to keep an eye out for when that happens so I can fix it, but I don't always catch it.

Flag guy
That was the after the Canadian Men's Hockey team took gold at the 2002 winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Everyone watching the game in the bars along richmond st. spilled out onto the road in a spontanious celebration.

once again
It seems as though a lack of policy has presented itself once again. Is there policy or is that your opinion Jeremy?
Jeff
it's my opinion
We don't have a policy on how many photos can be in the teaser of an article. I just said I didn't think it was a big deal. Shall we dance?
Jeremy
out of curiousity
What (where) is Loyalist?
Just to clarify
I was really wondering what or where loyalist is,I didn't have any cynical or sarcastic intetion with my comment.
So is it the name of the break-dancing contest or the venue?
Loyalist
Kota,
I don't think anyone would have read any sarcasm or cynicism in your question.
Loyalist College is where Mike went for his photo journalism program. It's in Belleville, ON.
Jeremy
ah
I see.
I'm little paranoid these days lol
kota
hey Mike
Hey Mike,
When you post pictures, could you please not make them so large. As well, could you only post one to the front page. and allow others to access the rest the by the "read more" function. It would most likely be recognised as an act of respect for the other posts on the front page.
