August 15th, 2001 outside of Tent City after housing rally in front of the Delta Armouries. The London police officer was filming the Tent City across the street on Dundas between Colborne and Waterloo. The action.family had organized the occupation of Campbell Memorial Park duing the 2001 Canada Summer Games. We succeeded in drawing a lot of media attention to homelessness, and Tent City went on to become the Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness in London. The Unity Project provides emergency shelter and transitional housing on Dundas Street, just east of Adelaide.
