CHRW 94.9 Description:
London Indymedia is officially commencing its radio show at CHRW 94.9 Tuesday 9th @ 6p.m. and repeated @ 6:30 am Wednesday and will continue biweekly from that point on. The show will be focused on local, national and international issues of all kinds. London Indymedia radio functions similarly to the larger international organization of Indymedia in the sense that we will accept submissions from many different participants. For instance, LI will gladly take material from any contributers who wish to compile audio that they have collected, shows they have made, or ideas on issues that they find pertinent. We stress that if you want to contribute largely to the radio show that you do the training at the station (which is free) to acquire the skills to edit, compile, and work on shows.  We currently are having discussions, debates, as well as compiling interviews to create shows. This said, the format of the show is very open can be used in many different ways.  To get involved contact londonontario.indymedia@gmail.com

"Reach for the Rainbow develops integrated opportunities, enriching the lives of children and young adults with developmental and physical disabilities, their families and the communities in which they belong. Working with its Partners in Integration, RFTR provides integrated recreational, respite and outreach opportunities across the province of Ontario.

We are committed to promoting an environment where children with disabilities can mature with their peers; one which encourages awareness and compassion and allows people with disabilities to discover their full potential. Our commitment is to belonging; to ability, not disability; to inclusion, not segregation. In 2006, RFTR will provide services and opportunities to over 900 children, young adults, and their families."
