I found this video of Rick Mercer here in london town taking a spin around our local velodrome. Good times.
We should really organize a group to go to the velodrome. I'm pretty sure it's awesome! Has anyone been around it?

Matti and I went to the London Blogger/Podcaster Meetup last night at Molly Blooms, and we were joined a bit later by Rachel and Mike. There were a bunch of really friendly local bloggers, about a 12-15 people all together. I also got to meet Greg who posts here quite regularly in person for the first time.
A lot of people brought business cards to the event. I unfortunately didn't have any business cards myself or for the LC.
People seemed pretty interested in the site, so hopefully we'll have a few new members soon.

I was searching the City of London website for information on the bylaw that I heard was passed this week, approving the addition of more blue box recyclable materials in London.

Notwithstanding the considerable respect that I have for Jay Stanford, I was seriously disappointed by what he had to say to ETC this week with respect to plastic bags and other materials that are being excluded.
