By now I'm sure everyone is aware of Tena Fey's impersonation of Gov. Sarah Palin. Here's a hilarious video blog by Sarah Palin herself that's been on youtube for awhile now. I feel truly confused but blessed now having witnessed these ultra-personal testimonies. I honestly felt a little veclemnt while Palin guided her troubled assistant, Dina, through prayer. The House voted down the taxpayer bailout of America's richest thugs. And the TSX dropped a record 840 points. Jack Layton just called all federal candidates to meet and discuss the impact the US financial crisis is having on our economy, but Harper just declined. Protest against the financial bailout of the companies who put the US into this crisis is growing rapidly (check this video as well). As a realnews correspondent has mentioned more than once, "this is weapons of mass destruction all over again." Essentially, the political elite are using the economic crisis as an opportunity to coerce the Senate and Congress to bailout the rich bastards that are responsible for this mess. Michael Moore's article at Alternet describes the bailout as the biggest robbery in US history. Fortunately, many US citizens are now wise to this totally unnecessary move to appease investors and the corporate elite.

Jack Layton is the only candidate for Prime Minister worth mentioning during this Canadian election. He is the only one with the integrity, and the policy, to put democracy back into government. As a progressive I will always pressure any political party, and corresponding government, to do what I feel will benefit my community via lobby, protest and the vote. But the NDP are the most susceptible to grass-roots influence - to our influence. They represent the working class, the middle-class, and the disenfranchised.  read more »

To think that Sarah Palin could have even been considered a candidate for vice-president is truly remarkable. I've never seen, in my 28 years of life, a more unfit person for political office. Of course, Conservative Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz comes close.  read more »

Bus company Trentway-Wagar is pressuring the Ontario Government to shut down these sites.
