We are calling on all interested parties to attend a scheduled
reconciliation meeting at 11:30am on Sunday March 30th in the lounge
area of the Central Library. Everyone who wants to participate in
setting policy around the zine and radioshow(including whether they are
to be included as imc projects), the website, the mailing list, and
grievances among members.

Jacob Wibe has started an online petition to get 'real food' at Western. Wibe stated in the Gazette "we want a cafeteria-style restaurant that serves three to four daily alternatives for lunch and dinner". Sadly only students can sign the petition although we know many people from the city vist the campus frequently.

TORONTO (CP) - A stretch of Ontario highway that's become a sombre repatriation route for soldiers felled in Afghanistan, drawing impromptu gatherings of mourners saluting that sacrifice, is set to be renamed in their honour, the province said Thursday.The 170-kilometre stretch of Highway 401 between the eastern Ontario airbase where the flag-drapped coffins of fallen soldiers arrive and the forensics centre in Toronto that receives them has been dubbed the Highway of Heroes.

my sister just told me that a woman approached her and asked for money to get a cab ride home to st. thomas, for her freinds left her here. she also used the line " im not poor, but can i have some money" . this is ironic because i too had a encounter with a woman just before the municipal election who fits this same discription and used the same claim and phase just mentioned. she is average height with short hair and a toque. she got into a car immediately after she approached my sister. beware

YARD SALE...To benefit Olivia....Saturday June 24th
Friends and family have organized a yard sale to help raise funds for Olivia. We are looking for salable items that people are no longer using that they would like to donate to the sale. Mom and dad are buying Olivia a special bed for when she gets home, one that will better suit Olivia and give the nurses easier access to her at home. I went to a local canada trust to solve quite a ridicules problem that my sister had which i will not explain but the bank manager told me that the bank has to take extra precaution since 9/11 and again he told me that the bank has to be more careful. while looking at me quite seriously, he said "we are being governed like that". Apparently my 15 year old sister was a security threat. its really sick that this fear campaign is so systemic.

Apparently there is now a publication ban on the proceedings of the suspected 17 terrorists after they claimed they have been tortured. this is another example of the travesty of democracy that we practice in Canada. We now are not allowed to know about what happens to our own citizens. Is Harper now running the supreme court?
