The Cotton Jones Basket Ride are a Maryland-based band touring through the area. Their pop is beautiful, melodic, and incredibly infectious. Once you click on the link below and hear their lovely harmonies and sleighbell smoothness, you'll be hooked. You will not want to miss this show. They remind me a bit of the Papercuts. The band leader (Michael Nau) is better known for his band Page France. It's a pleasure and honour to have the opportunity to play with them.

Our focus is on providing critique groups for writers who want feedback for their work. We made this change in order to provide a more dynamic, interactive and content rich site, to include posting videos of our critique groups in action.  

 

 

CBC (the State-Run-Network) reports that a meeting in Peterborough of the Ontario Cabinet Committee on Poverty Reduction was an invite-only affair. Local activists were turned away from what was billed as a "public-consultation". If someone could help me learn how to cut and paste on this consarned thing, I'd let you know the exact site. Check cbc.ca/news/toronto, though, and you might be able to discern the verbal gyrations of the Premier to find out what he is actually saying.

The day is approaching very quickly so I thought to
create a thread for organizing the trip to Montreal for the Anarchist
Bookfair which is held May 17-18.

This is the biggest Anarchist
Bookfair in North America, and as I saw last year and year before it
gets bigger every year, and it's REALLY REALLY FUN! You don't have to
buy anything if you don't want to, it's nice to just hang out and enjoy
the vibe, and come on, it's MONTREAL!

This is one of the funniest vidz I've seen in a while, other than anything with George Galloway (whom I could watch all day!)

After writing a paper on Rousseau, his talk of material stuff creating jealousies, the little girl made me laugh until I cried. All too familiar is much of her thinking!
